Welcome to the Theatre and Film Division of Carmel High School’s Performing Arts Department. We have a dynamic and energetic department that offers students many opportunities to explore the joys of theatre and film.

In many respects our program is similar to most quality high school programs around the country. We provide a four year program in the theatre arts and in technical theatre. However, we have a commitment to the performing arts at Carmel High School, a public school, which rivals many private programs. We have a superb curriculum and consistently rank as one of the top drama departments in Indiana. Our students not only win a wide variety of awards, but many continue their studies at the college level. We proudly boast that our students are found at the major schools of theatre and many alumni are working in theatre, film and theatre education.
