Describe your goals or objectives for this school year: "I plan to help my students to become more metacognitive in their learning. This "thinking about thinking" lets students become more active in the learning process. Hopefully, as a result, my students will learn to be more successful in whatever they choose to pursue (even outside of journalism) because metacognition helps with goal setting, organization and higher order thinking."
