The Technology Education department stresses the practical application of knowledge learned throughout the school's curriculum. Emphasis is on hands-on Experiences. Basic skills and knowledge are and applied to projects and work experiences that broaden the student's understand of specific skills. Good work ethics, teamwork, and cooperation are emphasized as attributes necessary for successfully completion of the courses, future education pursuits, and careers.
 
St. Louis Regional Competition February 27th through March 1st the TechHOUNDS robotics team will be traveling to St. Louis Missouri to compete in their first Regional competition.
Purdue Regional Competition March 12th through  March 15  the TechHOUNDS robotics team will be traveling Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN to compete in the Boilermaker Regional competition.
Atlanta International Competition  The TechHOUNDS robotics team will travel to Atlanta Georgia to compete with 600 other school around the world in the FIRST robotics international competition.
