The media center is open from 7:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 7:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. on Friday.
Books circulate for three weeks. The CHS student ID serves as the student library card. Reference books may be checked out overnight. Fines of five cents per day are charged for each overdue item. The charge for a lost book or other materials will be the replacement cost. A coin operated copier is available for student use.
Each student must have on file in the school activities office a signed copy of the Carmel Clay Schools Network User Agreement to make use of any networked computer in Carmel High School.
Students entering the media center with a pass must clock in and clock out. For access to the media center during study hall, a student must obtain a pass from a media specialist. For access during SRT, a student must acquire a standard SRT pass from the teacher making the assignment.
